The difference between fear and hate

A phobia is a deeply-rooted psychological condition in which you are so afraid of something on a subconscious level- due to some traumatic event or trigger- that it impacts your ability to function in daily life.
Our society tries to excuse the conscious choice for being intolerant of others because of who they love, what god they do or don’t believe in, or where they are from by labeling that intolerance with such terms as ‘homophobia’ or ‘xenophobia’ just so they can look themselves in the mirror each day.
The only impact a person’s sexuality, faith, or ethnicity has on your daily life is in how you choose to assign misplaced anger on them for simply being different than yourself. That’s not fear, that’s just hate.
