Newspaper interview

Hey all! Cool news:

I did a newspaper interview this morning for my poetry book. It was with a staff writer for the Advisor & Source newspaper, a local weekly publication, and will be printed in the June 10th issue. Look for it then in your mailbox or newsstand.
It was brief but very fun and when I set up the book signing at Barnes & Noble she wants to come out and do a follow up- how cool is that?! We talked briefly about my decision to be a writer, a writer’s sources of inspiration, and what it’s like to self publish.

On related news, Musings From a Candlelit Chamber officially has its ISBN. I received an e-mail informing me of the completion of the application. This means that it can now be put in databases around the world for ordering and distribution. I have also just enabled the book to go on Google’s Book Search but that process according to Google can take up to 8 weeks- but hey, it’s going to be on freaking Google!

Now that all the big publication processes are completed on Musings I can get back to working on the novel.. I’d like to do 2-3 pages a day until it’s completed. Of course that’s barring distractions, life, and time out for karaoke!

I sat down with Jocelyn Marino for an interview about my new book and starting my writing career. It was a lot of fun and she was as cool as me.
