I read this in my news feed this morning and thought I would share the nugget of wisdom:

A professor held up a black book and said, “This book is red.”
The students unanimously retorted, “No.”
The professor calmly insisted, “Yes, it is.”
The students again challenged and said, “That’s not right.”
When the professor turned the book around to reveal that the reverse cover that he was looking at was red, the students were silent.
“Don’t tell somebody they’re wrong until you’ve seen things from their point of view.”

I wonder how society would be if we were all so wise and tolerant before attacking another person for their opinions, beliefs, and perspectives.
