I came home tonight to my contributor copy of Mythic Indy waiting for me in the mail.
This hardcover collection of tales really is beautifully designed from cover to cover- and I am not just saying that because my name is number one on the back cover! 😉
In case you didn’t know, I submitted a modified version of a short story I wrote as part of an anthology of true, twisted, and tall tales of a seemingly underworld of Indianapolis. The proceeds from this print edition go to Second Story, an organization that promotes literacy and cultivates creative writing in kids.
How could anyone say “no” to that?
I thumbed through the pages and had to laugh at the illustrated map indicating all of the literary gems within these covers:
I found my story, “The Incident at Methodist Station”, on page 179.
Walk with me through an Indianapolis that you may or may not recognize.
The book can be purchased online at Punchnels.com or at IndyReads on Mass Ave, Bookmamas in Irvington, Well Done Marketing in Fountain Square, and local Half Price Books and can be checked out at Indianapolis Public Libraries. The book is a limited edition.
