What a weekend, filled with food, drinks, sun, and fun. The inaugural Michigan Market & Mayhem in Frankenmuth, Michigan is in the history books.
- Gearing up for the Book Bash
- For the first time I also had full size photo prints
- Signing something special for the #MIBookBash limited to 100 copies.
- Got into town and needed lunch. Wild Boar and Seafood does the trick!
- You can’t just come to Frankenmuth, Michigan and not shop and do some looking around, especially on a nice summer day.
- The iconic Zehnder’s
- As a lover of Frankenmuth Brewery, the chance to go to the source was worth the trip.
- I can hear angels singing.
- Sharing drinks with my beautiful fiancée
- Frankenmuth Brewery sampler!
- Where the magick happens. It looks like mission control in a ’50s space flick.
- A pretty flower cart outside of the restaurant
- Walking the streets of Frankenmuth, Michigan and enjoying the summer heat and (thankfully) occasional breeze.
- All set up for the Michigan Book Bash!
- Good friends, Debbie Droz and Jayde Drozdowicz stopped by. Jayde was the copyeditor for my latest book, #AcrosstheGreatDivide.
- Before heading out of town we stopped for lunch/dinner at a great place, Michigan on Main. Everything was delicious: from the sampler of Michigan craft beers to the Michigan Slaw and the biggest bratwurst I have ever had. I wanted to bottle up the spicy mustard ale dipping sauce and take it home!
- I wrote this to commemorate the event and to celebrate Michigan pride.
