I believe that I will say this going forward instead of “Have a nice day”. While kind, sometimes people are not having a nice day and the greeting is a reminder of that. Life is not a flat road of unemotional events, but rather a twisted one with steep hills, low points, and scenic lookouts of reflection and inspiration. “I hope you’re having a meaningful day” covers all of that and provides encouragement for all that life has to offer and the willingness to see it for what it is.
Yes, that is the kind of world that I want to live in- one filled with life and hope.
