Deep Forest Productions Releases New Book by Wolf LittleBear
STERLING HEIGHTS, MI—September 22, 2008— Local author, Wolf LittleBear, announces the release of his latest publication,
P.R.I.S.M. A Ghost Hunter’s Handbook. Wolf LittleBear is a lead investigator and archive manager for Detroit-based ghost hunting
group Paranormal Research and Investigations in Southeastern Michigan (P.R.I.S.M.). The non-profit organization’s co-founder and
CEO Jesse Perkins, of Troy, Michigan, collaborated with Wolf LittleBear on the creation of a straightforward manual and field guide
for the activity popularly known as ghost hunting. This is Wolf LittleBear’s fourth title.
In recent years the practice of ghost hunting has increased in popularity due to various reality television shows, prompting interest in
all levels of groups from teenagers just looking for a good time and a cheap thrill to serious scientific inquiries and experimentation.
This comprehensive reference book separates the fact from the fiction with regards to the do’s and don’ts of a proper and professional
investigation. It provides step-by-step instructions for investigating reports of the paranormal and includes all the various terms,
theories, phenomena, tools, and technology in an unbiased manner. Also included are local legends of the Detroit area, such as the
ghosts of Belle Isle, and a casebook of the group’s previous investigations. P.R.I.S.M. conducted an investigation of a house in Mount
Clemens, Michigan, in April of 2008 which was filmed by Detroit-area filmmaker Tracy Wayne Surgener. This case is discussed in
detail and the investigation is being made into regular “webisodes” on popular websites such as YouTube and MySpace TV.
The official book-signing and release party for P.R.I.S.M. A Ghost Hunter’s Handbook will take place at Mystic Mountain bookstore
in Royal Oak, Michigan on Saturday, October 25, 2008. The event runs from 6 pm until 9 pm. Wolf LittleBear and Jesse Perkins will
be on hand to greet readers, sign copies, and answer questions. Future appearances also include the fifth annual Motor City Art Expo,
held at the Emerald Theater in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and as guests on the Magic Taboo podcast.
Through his label, Deep Forest Productions, and in partnership with Lulu.com, Wolf LittleBear previously released three titles in
2007: Musings From a Candlelit Chamber, A Wolf in the Shadows, and The Power of Music Therapy. Also currently available are
15 art gallery prints featuring poetic works from a forthcoming book/DVD project. He has been twice published in Mused, a literary
review magazine. Wolf LittleBear is also a member of the Motown Writer’s Network (MWN). Motown Writers Network, lead by
accomplished Detroit author Sylvia Hubbard, was created in 2000 to educate, network, and market writers on and off the Internet.
