When a Grammar Cop Goes Out to Lunch

What kind of half-witted, elementary school dropout does Taco Bell have heading up their marketing department?! I’m frigging annoyed by their campaign for the new cool ranch Doritos Locos Taco.
First of all, I’d like to point out that Locos Tacos is a very poor rhyme, but I digress…
In case you haven’t seen it, they’re making a big deal about how you now have a choice between a nacho cheese and a cool ranch-flavored Doritos shell. Fair enough, but on billboards, signs, cups, and bags it proudly states: COLLECT ALL TWO
Seriously?
Just say COLLECT BOTH; you sound like frigging morons to say otherwise! All two? REALLY? Had there been three or more choices, the grammar and syntax would have made more sense. It’s enough to make my blood boil.
By the way, WHO THE HELL “COLLECTS” a perishable taco shell??!? Do they expect people to trade them? Display them in windows and museums? Art galleries?? I guess that it’s shining a light on how many preservatives are in those things!
I’ll tell you this, a grammar cop’s job is never finished. There’s just too much idiocy in this world.
Come to think of it, at the moment I’m not sure if it’s the poor grammar or the quality of the food that’s making my stomach turn. :p
